Barking Tube Station

Barking Tube station was opened in April 1854. It was rebuilt in 1889 and the station booking hall was completely rebuilt between 1959-1961. It was erected to coincide with the electrifying of the railway. The Station reopened by the Queen in 1961 is now a Grade II listed building and was one of the best English stations of this date.
